I hope you’ve all had a great week so far! Well, in the last few days I’ve noticed how some people around me kind of lost their ability to communicate with each other. You know, it seems like in times of WhatsApp, e-mails and Snapchat there’s no big need for talking anymore. I don’t want to say those ways of communicating are bad. In fact, I am a big fan of Snapchat (to follow my stories add carmenjenny). And let’s face it, we all would be lost without WhatsApp or e-mails. However, I think the chances of misunderstandings in those chats are quite high. Of course there are hundreds of emojis which should express our feelings. But sometimes, they cause even more confusion. So what I wanna say is, don’t forget to talk to each other. Sometimes a five minute call is way more effective than chatting for two hours. 😉 But I am sure you will find the right balance. What do you guys think about the different ways of communicating?
So let’s move over to today’s look. It was inspired by a specific trend of this season – velvet pieces. In my case, I went for a black blazer made out of the amazing material. What I love about velvet is its decent touch of glamour. Depending on the light and the angle of which you look at it, velvet always looks different. I matched my blazer with some cropped flared jeans and a simple white shirt. To still give my outfit a little statement I chose a black hat. As you guys may know, I love the contrast of elegant and cool pieces. That’s why I paired some Stan Smith Adidas sneakers to complete my look.
