A snowy hello you all!
I hope you are on a warm and cozy place as you’re reading this post. I don’t want you to start freezing when you look at the following pictures. 😉 As you guys may have seen on my Instagram (carmitive) or on my snapchat (carmenjenny) I’m currently on my winter holidays in Davos, Switzerland. I’ve come here with my family since I was a little girl. It became like a tradition and over all these years this sweet town in the mountains of Switzerland has become like a second home for me.
Apparently, a lot of things have changed after almost 20 years. As I stay in Davos only once or twice a year those changes seem much more apparent. For example, this year one of my favorite shops got closed. And this lovely chalet next to my hotel has been replaced from a huge modern building. First, I was kind of sad. Does everything have to change and get trendy even here in this mountain village? But then I realized, changes can also mean something good. As my former favorite shop got closed I discovered new one. And I have to admit it, I might love it even more.
So guys, what I want to says is, changes can be scary. Actually, no one really likes them. But sooner or later, everyone has to go through them. So just try to make the best out of it. Suddenly you realize it’s gonna be much better than before. Maybe you also start to discover new things like me. Just enjoy it and smile – it’s gonna help. 🙂
Last but not least, I also want to say something about today’s look in which I definitively loved the IKKII boots the most. I’m so proud that a Swiss designer got the great idea for such amazing shoes. They’re so comfortable, I could were them all day long. Actually, I’m still wearing them while I am writing this post. 🙂 So, I matched my IKKII lovelies with a cozy off-the-shoulder dress and a scarf which was super cushy as well – what a comfy outfit I’ve got here! 🙂 Well, as it was quite cold on that day I also went for a beanie and a warming parka from Canada Goose.
