Ahoi my sweethearts!
Today’s outfit is all about one of my favorite colors- navy blue. What I like about this shade is how it can be very elegant but cool at the same time. Navy is also a great alternative to black. I mean, I love black and it’s absolutely timeless for sure. But sometimes you’re just in the mood for something else, right?
Let’s move to today’s look. I chose a navy blue suede top with fancy fringes on the sleeves. To make my look more interesting and cheery I decided to wear a sweet lace top underneath. As I wanted to keep up this combination of navy blue and white I matched some dark blue patterned trousers. They kind of reminded me of a sailor’s outfit. But why not feeling like on the high sea for one day… Just kidding 🙂 As you guys may know, I like to have a glitzy factor in my outfits. In this look I went for some jewels and my beloved Chloé bag.
Well, apart from feeling like a wannabe sailor that day, the setting made me come up with some other vibes. The pictures were taken next to roadworks. These building cranes (you can’t see them on the pictures) and containers made me think a little bit. You know, we all want to build up something in our lives, don’t we? Maybe some of you want to set up a great career, others want to finish their schools or you are dreaming of having a lovely house and a family one day. Maybe you just want to have fun and see as much of the world as possible – but also these journeys have to be prepared in some way. Sometimes, there are these moments when you think that your plans won’t work out and everything goes wrong. You think of giving up everything and finding something else to build up. In situations like this, imagine yourself in the middle of a roadwork. I mean, if Rome wasn’t built in one day how should you make your dreams come true right away? Some things take time and hard work. But it’s gonna be worth it. In the end it’s not only the result that counts but also the way how you got there. 🙂
My sweeties, thank you so much for stopping by. I wish you all a wonderful day! Always be proud of what you are building. Whatever it is gonna be, as long as you love it, you are gonna be fine.
With love, Carmen ????
