Hey pretty people,
Jeans, a black top, sneakers and jewels – a combination that actually describes a lot of outfits. The thing is, there are so many ways to style these pieces. Some of you might already know that I love to wear simple clothes with nice details and match them with pieces which give the whole look a classy and glamorous touch. But before adding those extras, I always want to feel good in my basics.
So in this look a chose a black tank top with crossed-over spaghetti straps from Kestan. What I loved about this top was this cool detail of a V shaped cut-out at the back – it makes it so comfortable to wear! With the mixed fabric of linen and cotton it’s definitively one of my favorite basic tops. In this look I paired it with some blue jeans. The detail I loved about these pretty pants were its cool fringes. They kind of gave this look a little western vibe, don’t you think? 🙂 The pair I was wearing here was from Zara but you can easy do these fringes by yourself – just have a look at this great DIY from my lovely blogger friend Elena.
Let’s move to those extras from today’s outfit. One eye-catcher was the pompom – made out of faux fur and vegan leather. So even though furry pieces are considered to be worn in winter I think this pompom is also great to rock during spring or summer. The white color gives it something really fresh and fun. And this pompom is so versatile, you can clip it onto your purse or use it as a keychain. How do you guys like this fluffy lovie? 😉
Another way I like to upgrade an outfit is wearing some jewels. For everyday looks, I prefer delicate pieces like the necklace from Kestan I was wearing in this outfit. I really liked the clasp of it. With the circle on one end and the pendant on the other it can be worn in a longer or shorter look. This circle detail was also part of the bracelet I was wearing.
So when it comes to upgrading your outfit, I also like to go for some fancy stuff like the kilties (I haven’t known the name of them before this post 😛 ) which I threaded through my shoestrings. I discovered these cool pieces some days ago and I just had to buy them. Do you know that feeling when you see something and you know you’re gonna buy it no matter what? So this was the case when I saw these kilties. And I am so happy I got them. You can put it onto each pair of sneakers and it just feels like you were wearing new shoes. 🙂
