Hi my sweethearts,
Are you all enjoying a nice and sunny weekend? As you can see in these pictures, the sun has finally decided to stay a bit longer here in Switzerland – it was definitively high time! These sunbeams do not only turn everyone into a good mood – it’s finally time for ice cream again – they also make you wanna give your summer wardrobe a little update. Well at least that’s how I feel. What about you guys, what do you love about those sunny days? 🙂
So, in today’s outfit I was wearing one of my favorite colors for summer – a lovely pastel pink. What I loved about this rose top was its gorgeous bow at the back. As some of you might have already noticed, I’m a big fan of bows and ribbons! They just give every outfit this little extra. You can loop a neckerchief or a blouse and style the pieces a bit differently than usual. Or you can put a bow clip into your hair instead of a normal hair barrette. Of course it’s also nice to look for these tops which have got a lovely bow detail like the one I was wearing in this look.
Actually, there are many things said about bows. They’re known to be pretty, girly and sweet. Apart of these attributes, I think a bow is something really classy. There has been almost no decade in which bows haven’t played a role in fashion. One reason for this is probably that they are not only nice to look at but also super practical. For example, a bow can replace a zipper or a hair tie. However, I think wearing a bow always means going for a very clean and classy detail.
So another rose-colored piece in this outfit was the watch from the new Ice Watch collection. This pretty lovie is not available yet but if I were you, I would be sure to safe it as soon as it will be released! Another accessory of this look was the bag from Lonchamp. I loved it because of this natural brown tone which looks great in various combinations. Regarding the rest of my outfit, I decided to go for some jeans – have a look at the cool hems – and pretty metallic slingbacks.
