Hello my sweetest friends,
Tomorrow is the day, I am finally leaving to Africa! You can’t imagine how excited I am – and a little bit stressed because I haven’t packed anything yet… 😉 Going on this adventure means a lot to me. I have been working quite a lot in the last few months and I’ve always looked so forward to this safari trip. Actually, I realized how something like this can really motivate you when you are not feeling that well or when you just miss the forest for the trees because you have so much to do. Having a goal and something you can hold on to is so precious.
This doesn’t necessarily have to be a trip to Africa or any other holiday. Sometimes all it needs is to have a nice plan for the weekend or your favorite magazine which is waiting at home to be read. Or maybe you can’t wait to finally get yourself your dream bag. No matter what you are looking forward to, I just think it’s really important that you have such goals in your life because it gives you so much power and motivation – especially if you enjoy them to the fullest!
Well I think, things like these can be enjoyed the best by wearing an outfit in which you feel absolutely great – this was also the case in this look. I discovered these great dungarees (which look like a pretty denim dress but I swear there are pants underneath) in Zara some days ago and it was love at first sight. It’s not only because of the great fact that two pieces are made into one but also because of these sweet embroidered details. Those of you who remember the Trendy Tuesday post about embroidery know how much I love these picks at the moment. For accessories, I decided to go for a bag from Maison Mollerus, one of my favorite Swiss brands for exquisite leather goods. I loved the shape of this pretty bucket bag which is part of the new Fall/Winter Collection 2017. The beautiful nude tones match with so many different other colors which means you can wear the bag in various styles.
So how do you like my outfit which I was wearing full of excitement? I am already curious and I can’t wait to read your comments after I’ll be finally done with packing – anyone wanna help? 😉 So as I am leaving to Africa already tomorrow, I can’t promise you guys to be as active as usual. I try my best but maybe I will post a bit less than usual in the next two weeks. I hope you won’t blame me for that. If you are in the mood for some African vibes, just follow me along on snapchat (carmenjenny) or on Instagram – I am already looking forward to show you guys some impressions!
Have a lovely rest of your weekend my sweethearts, take care and don’t forget about your goals.
