Hi my sweets,
Finding the right words is not always that easy. So instead of saying what we really think, we sometimes tend to find excuses. Lately, I’ve also noticed how people often pretend to like something just to be accepted by others. When it comes to compliments, a lot of people just flatter each other in order to benefit of some wannabe friendships. Well, I like to give compliments – and of course I also like to get them – but only if they’re honest.
Especially in fashion, there’s a lot of affectation going around. That’s also a bit part of the business. But do we really have to act as if we like anything that is currently trending? Well personally, I only wear the things that I like and I also say it if something is not really my taste. So, when I say I like this top, I do really mean it – and of course I would also wear it. 🙂
Apparently, this was also the case in the outfit I am showing you today. I was wearing an olive-colored shirt from Ba&Sh which was super comfy and very nice to wear. I paired it with a belt of which I first wasn’t sure whether I should really wear it or not. But I really liked it and that’s why I decided to just go for it. 🙂 To give this look a cool finish I went for some simple white culottes and black lace-up heels. Last but not least, the checked neckerchief gave everything a pretty girly twist.
