They can make the whole outfit – as you can never have to many shoes, there is always a Trendy Tuesday update about what to where on your feet for each season. Apparently, spring has already started and it’s high time to get your shoe closet ready for those warmer days. With these three trends, you will definitely rock the streets – or the beach – to the fullest!
This season, it’s all about thinking small. The kitten heels – also known as micro-heels – have been absolutely everywhere: the party-like versions at Miu Miu, logo-ed essentials at Dior and clean designs at Mansur Gavriel. Apart from a great selection of different variations, there is one reason why you can’t skip this trend: kitten heels are not only ladylike and elegant but you can actually walk in them. This means goodbye killer heel and hello kitty!
The high vs. low Flat
Yes, they are back. Inspired by the 90s, flatforms play some of the leading roles for this spring/summer. Whether you grab some slinky sandals from Steve Madden, a design with romantic florals from Alexander McQueen or boyish versions from Prada, those next level flats will increase your height – and your outfit greatness – for sure. However, if you are not in the mood for a growth of some centimeters, you can still stick to those flat slippers. They have been on the fashion radar for quite a long time now but it seems like nobody is really tired of them. So all you Gucci loafer fans out there, get another pair or maybe try out some of another brand, which are just as great and comfy.
THE SOCK MARCH
As seen in a previous Trendy Tuesday edition, the athleisure trend is currently very high up in the top 10. This is why the sport-inspired sock boot is one of most obvious but still an unusual footwear option. From knit ankle heights at Fendi to stretchy jersey boots at Vetements and DKNY, they are definitely a good alternative to give the sneaker trend a change.
Have you already found your favorite pair of stunners in which you walk through those spring days? Fortunately, you have enough time to try out all three trends at least once.
