When Hanna enters the room, you can hardly miss her love for vintage clothes. Her outfits look like they are from another time. Apparently, her style brings her to various flea markets but also to the closets of her grandparents. The past times do not only inspire her own look, but also her designs as an upcoming fashion designer. Such as Hanna always gets inspired by her environment, CARMITIVE is looking for inspiring people with an individual style. With our new monthly category “Style to Watch”, Hanna is the first one who tells us about her attitude towards fashion, art and styling essentials.
What's the first you pick out of your wardrobe in the morning?
Most of the time it's probably underwear.
What are the three key elements to your style?
Colors (mostly black, otherwise muted autumnal colors), they should be coordinated with each other
One article of clothing or one detail should be able to stand out
I like wearing thrifted clothes as well as clothing items of my grandmother and grandfather

Shop Hanna's Wardrobe:
If you could be a piece of clothing for one day, which one would it be?
A winter coat, because I would be able to look at my surroundings and protect the person wearing me from the cold. And they would take me everywhere they go.
What does inspire your style the most?
My grandparents, the 80s or 90s and my creative self
Fashionably speaking, what is your favorite time of the year?
Fall, because you have a lot of options with coats, sweaters and pants, i.e. wearing the coat unbuttoned and showcasing what you are wearing underneath it (layering!). And I like the autumnal colors since they are great to adapt your style to.
What are the pieces of clothing you could never live without?
Coats and pants
What do you count as most important in fashion?
It should be comfortable and not hindering me in my everyday life, yet it should still be fashionable.
