You know, pink often has this reputation of being sweet and girlish. Of course it is a very soft and cute color. I hope you all had a good and fresh start into this new month. For me, March always represents the beginning of spring. I can’t wait for the warm temperatures because right now, pardon the phrase, I’m freezing my ass off! Luckily it was not that cold when I shot this outfit some days ago. However, let’s hope the pleasant spring sun is gonna say hello very soon. 🙂 But enough talking about the weather because there something really exciting about today’s post. Today’s outfit is all about one of my favorite colors- navy blue. What I like about this shade is how it can be very elegant but cool at the same time. Navy is also a great alternative to black. I mean, I love black and it’s absolutely timeless for sure. But sometimes you’re just in the mood for something else, right?

Luckily, I shot this outfit on Sunday when it was warm and sunny. I really liked the setting of this location and I am so happy I can finally share this outfit with you guys.

Sitting in trains always makes me feel a bit thoughtful. Maybe you know that, when you look out of the window, watching the landscapes passing, you’ve time to think about anything and everything. Are you all doing well out there? I know, the topic of today’s post sounds quite funny. But sometimes I get the impression that we need a bit more fun in our life, don’t you think? Almost every day I see people rushing around, catching their trains and focusing on a mobile or a laptop. When I see such a stressed person, I tend to ask myself, when was the last time he or she smiled? Maybe this has been forgotten because of all the tasks which should be completed as soon as possible. I don’t wanna say that I am a 24h smiler. But life is so much easier if you look at it from the bright side and if you not take everything too seriously. And sometimes this means, meeting an elephant in polka dots. 🙂

So here it is, the day of love ♥ Whatever your current relationship status looks like, today I think you should just appreciate the people around you. Of course it’s about boyfriends and girlfriends in the first place. But if that’s not the case at the moment just celebrate this day with your best friend and spread some love for everyone. In Finland for example it’s not only the day for couples but it’s also the official day of friendship – so why not follow this lovely idea. This doesn’t mean you have to buy chocolate and flowers for all of your friends. By the way, how many roses do you think are given each Valentine’s day?
