Hey there people,

Today, I wanted to share with you guys another look from my black and white series my friend and I wrapped up last week. This time, I went for a printed Zara dress and matched it with two of my current favorites. First on my list are the lace-up shoes. I love how they make out of every outfit something special and how they give this little elegant touch. And second, the black fringe bag (from Zara too) – it spreads these awesome 70ies vibes and gives the whole look something edgy and wild.

Hi my Carmitivers,

Well, in some parts of the world the summer holidays are already over and the school has started again. Sure, holidays are great and everyone would love to still lay on the beach and enjoy the sun. But now we’re back in reality and this means school’s on again or office life is calling. So rather than longing after the summer holidays we should see the good things about this kind of lifestyle. Think about seeing all your friends again or gossiping in the breaks 😉

132 years ago, an icon was born. On the 19th of August 1883 Gabrielle Chanel saw the light of the day for the first time. Today better known as Coco Chanel, the little girl had an impressive life ahead of her. She always did what she wanted to and she never let influence her style by anyone.

For me, Coco Chanel is probably the person I admire the most. Well, she’s definitively in my top 10! I think it’s just so amazing what she achieved and how she changed the whole fashion world. Starting with her simple hats followed by timeless clothes and accessories, she became one of the most important icons of fashion.

It’s a classic – the black dyed leather jacket. The first time it appeared was in the early 1900s. But it really became popular in the 40ies and 50ies. First, it was only worn from musicians or motorcyclists. This has pretty changed in the last few years. Today, nearly everyone has a leather jacket at home. It’s just great because you can wear it with almost everything. Of course, the classic combo is a white shirt, jeans and the black leather jacket – you’ll never do wrong with that!

Today I decided to keep my eye on the little things. You know, such pieces like fancy hair brooches or hairbands. I think with some good picks you can transform the most boring outfit into something great 😉 Well, not everyone likes to decorate himself like a christmas tree. But with a decent little hair slide you’ll never do wrong.
